Charles Smarr

Charles Franklin Smarr,73, of Forsyth passed away December 10, 2024. The family will greet friends from 5:00- 7:00 pm Monday, December 16, 2024, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel 86 West Main Street Forsyth. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday December 17, 2024, at the funeral home, interment will follow at New Providence Baptist Church 2560 US Highway 41 South, Smarr, Georgia. The family request blue jeans or other casual attire. 

Charles was born August 6, 1951, in Forsyth, Georgia to the late Raleigh Smarr and the late Ouida Bishop Hartwell. Charles lived life to the fullest and made many friends. Charles enjoyed shooting pool, and many people referred to his as a "Pool Shark”. Charles loved living a simple life surrounded by nature. 

Charles is survived by his sons; Charles and Jim, granddaughters, Dixie, Madison and Heaven; brother Keith Smarr and many friends. 

Monroe County Memorial Chapel 86 west Main Street Forsyth, Georgia has charge of the arrangements.
