Caroline Martin

Priscilla Caroline Martin passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at New Providence Baptist Church Chapel.  Rev. Brian Moore and Rev. Nathan Jackson will officiate.  The family will greet friends the day of the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., at the church.  Mrs. Martin, the daughter of the late Amos Ham and Iler Mae Elder Ham was born April 23, 1940, in Macon, Georgia. Her husband, James Gordon Martin, Sr. preceded her in death.  She was a homemaker and a longtime active member of Central Baptist Church in Douglasville, Georgia.  Survivors include her son, Jimmy Martin (Tina) of Forsyth; sister, Evelyn Stuart (Glover) of Forsyth; brother, Richard Ham (Burnice) of Arizona; and grandchildren, Drew, Grant and Reagan Martin.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to New Providence Baptist Church, Post Office Box 381, Smarr, GA 31086.    Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
