Bobby Joe Taylor, Sr.

Bobby Joe Taylor, Sr. passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens. Rev. Marty Dillon will officiate.  The family will greet friends the day of the service from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.  Mr. Taylor, the son of the late Thomas Ellard Taylor and Ethel Ruby O’Neal Taylor was born June 24, 1936, in Atlanta, Georgia. His wife, Brenda Murner Taylor preceded him in death.  He was retired from Sagon Motor Company.  Survivors include his children, Bobby Joe (Cindy) Taylor, Jr. of Forsyth and Jeff Taylor of Lovejoy; step-children, Mark Hencely of Twiggs County and Gail Hencely Scott of Portal; sister, Doris (Charles) Wrye of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Mandy Taylor, Tori Taylor, Tamra Taylor and Derek Taylor; step-grandchildren, Tyler Karr, Reecie Scott, Lacey Webb, Crystal Mize and Tabitha Wietstruk; and three great grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 807 Cherry Street, Macon, GA 31201.To view this live at the time of the service or at a later time please visit: http://citylinktv.com/channel/forsyth-monroe-county-memorial-chapel/ Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of local arrangements.
