Bob Cox

Robert “Bob” Sylvester Cox passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday April 7, 2019, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Rev. Mark Goolsby will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service at the funeral home.

Bob, the son of the late Ray Thomas Cox and Mary Louise Johnson Cox was born March 14, 1952, in Macon, Georgia. His wife, Pamela Lynn Davidson Cox preceded him in death. He retired from The Monroe County Recycling Department as a truck driver.

Survivors include his children, Robert Thomas Cox (Mary Ann) and Tommy Davidson; sister, Joyce Marie Warner; and two grandchildren, Luci Davidson and Teddy Davidson.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
