Billy Whatley

William Lamar Whatley, “Billy” (51) of Forsyth, GA, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 22, 2021 in Boise, Idaho.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Irene Whatley and his father, Lamar Whatley, brother, David Bunn, nephews, Phillip Fountain and Josh Bunn, cousin, Ray Mullis. 

Billy is survived by his sisters, Chrystal Collins of Rome, GA and Trisha Boswell of Forsyth, GA.  Nephews, Jonathan Anderson of Rome and Derek (Chloe) Fountain of Forsyth.  Great-niece Presley Anderson of Rome.  Great-nephews Liam Fountain, Cayman Mullinax of Forsyth.  Tylor Ingle, Slayton Fountain and Kam Fountain of Forsyth.  Aunts, Dot Mullis and Hazel Payne of Forsyth.  Cousins, Timmy Mullis, Lisa Granger, Donna Brown, Debra Daniels and Susan Hollar.  Special friends, Andrea and Braxton Goolsby of Forsyth, GA, and many other friends.

Billy lived life to the fullest.  He had a passion for people and a love for animals like no other.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation of your choice to a recovery program or animal shelter in memory of Billy.  He will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at New Beginning Pentecostal Church 1883 Juliette Rd. Forsyth, Ga 31029 on Saturday June 26, 2021 at 2:00PM with Reverend Mark Goolsby and Cody Fountain officiating.  His family may be contacted at 459 Music Row Forsyth, GA 31029.
