Billy Curtis Cochran, age 80, of Juliette, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 23, 2021 at New Beginning Pentecostal Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Mark Goolsby and Rev. Cody Fountain will officiate. Interment will follow in East Juliette Baptist Church Cemetery.
Billy, the son of the late Willis Alexander Cochran and Mary Helen Cochran was born February 23, 1941 in Jones County, Georgia. He retired from Bibb Company as a water treatment operator. Billy was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a member of New Beginning Pentecostal Church.
Billy is survived by his spouse of fifty-eight years, Gail Cochran of Juliette; sisters, Patsy Evans of Forsyth and Retha (Tony) Roper of Virginia Beach, VA: brothers, Randy (Wanda) Cochran of Senatobia, MS and Scotty (Renee) Cochran of Macon; spiritual daughter, Dorothy Hamrick; spiritual granddaughter, Mary Clay Shepard; several nieces and nephews.
Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
