Betty Dorman Jones

Betty Dorman Jones passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022, at her residence in Dry Branch, Georgia.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Stone Creek Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Mark Grinsted will officiate.

Betty, the daughter of the late Earlie Dorman and Beatrice Kennington Dorman was born May 5, 1928 in Macon, Georgia.  Her husband Jack Jones and her son-in-law Richard Wimberly preceded her in death.  She was retired from the United States Postal Service and was a member of Stone Creek Baptist Church.

Betty is survived by her children, Steve Jones (Pam) and Brenda Wimberly of Macon; three grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
