Barbara Lee Lowe

Mrs. Barbara Lowe, 91, of Forsyth, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024.  A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday April 6, 2024 at Chief Cornerstone Ministries in Flovilla .  Private inurnment will be at Gibbs Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery in Bostwick, Georgia. 

A creative woman with many artistic talents, Mrs. Lowe enjoyed jewelry making, crocheting, painting, and other crafts.  She was a member of Chief Cornerstone Ministries, where she faithfully attended her weekly Bible Study every Tuesday morning. Mrs. Lowe was a true life-long learner and liked to pass the time with activities like trivia or other games that kept her mind engaged. 

Mrs. Lowe is preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruth Howey; husband, James George Lowe; grandson, Brent Goodman; and three sisters, Phyllis, Annabelle, and Betty.  

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Fay Lowe of Forsyth, Belinda Kay Lowe Benson (Chuck) of Forsyth, Debi Lowe Goodman (Jim) of Bostwick, Georgia; son, William James Lowe (Melissa Chandler) of McDonough, Georgia; five grandchildren, Allen Benson (Ivey), Katie Andrews (Chris), Amber Allen (David), Harrison Lowe (Christie), and Connor Lowe; ten great-grandchildren, Hunter, Reagan, Brystol, Wyatt, Hillary, Dalton, Ellie, Synora, Morgan, and Devin; and one great-great-grandchild, Waylon.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chief Cornerstone Ministries, 248 GA Hwy 87, Flovilla, Georgia 30216.
