Barbara Foster

Barbara Smith Foster, 88, of Forsyth, Georgia, died November 18, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Forsyth City Cemetery, with the Reverend Mark Goolsby officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Brightmoor Hospice, 115 Arkwright Landing Macon, Georgia 31210.

Barbara enjoyed reading and crocheting, but her favorite thing was spending time with her family and friends. 

Barbara is survived by her daughter; Cheryl Hill (Donnie) of Lincolnton North Carolina; grandchildren; Sheree Daniel (Kiki) of Cape Coral Florida, Dustin Hill (Holly) of Lincolnton, North Carolina, Rook Dorsett (Kristen) of Kathleen, Georgia and Leslie Mannheim (Austin) of Gray Georgia; nine great grandchildren and many friends; brothers, Trigger Smith of Jacksonville, Florida and Ronnie Smith of Scranton, Pennsylvania; sister, Susan Hewett (Chris) of Forsyth, Georgia.

In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her husband of thirty-six years, Edd Foster; her son, Ken Dorsett; and first husband, Roger Dorsett.
