Ava Claudette Havard-Tingle, 63, was called home on January 20th, 2024. Born to the late John Havard Sr and Rosalee Howard, she is survived by 6 brothers, 3 sisters, and many cherished nieces and nephews. She leaves behind her love, of 21 years, Joe Tingle, as well as her children Dylan (Alisha) Burch, Jamie (Ray) Parker, Jason (Christina) Bates, Megan Burger, and Cara (Ryan) Lawrence. She leaves a legacy of 18 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Ava moved from Alabama to Georgia in her early 20's and built her career with Southern Company until retiring at 31 years to her beloved creek. The matriarch of her family, she was a beacon of light to all that knew her with a smile to match. She had a gift for gardening and loved spending her days in the sun. Her warmth, love, and joy resonate throughout her life and family. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Forsyth Methodist Church 68 West Johnson Street Forsyth Georgia 31029, New Pine Grove Baptist Church 2455 GA Highway 42 S, Forsyth, GA 31029 or The Nature Conservacy of Georgia.
