Ashley Danielle Wimberly, a fierce spirit and devoted mother, soared through life like a Phoenix, rising time and again from the ashes of adversity. Raised in Forsyth, Georgia, Ashley’s commanding presence lit up every room she entered. She was a warrior with a dark, intelligent sense of humor and a quick wit that could turn any moment into an unforgettable memory.
Her greatest passion was her beloved daughter, Alexis (Lexy) Chambers, whose joy was at the center of Ashley’s world. Whether they were floating down the river or laughing over a meal, their bond was unbreakable, and their love knew no bounds.
Her childhood was rooted in the nurturing embrace of her MawMaw and Pop, Joyce and Lenny Pontiac, who shaped her indomitable spirit and love for family, whether by blood or choice. From her childhood with her parents, Joanne Turner and Tony Turner, her sisters, Kristy, Summer and Autumn, to her adulthood spent with her best friend, confidant and partner in crime, Hannah, Ashley loved deeply and fully! There are too many other extended family who were loved and cared for by Ashley to mention individually. You know who you are!
A true adventurer at heart, Ashley loved the thrill of riding 4-wheelers through the mud, galloping on horseback, and blasting her favorite tunes as she sped down the open road. Her spirit thrived in the barn, among friends, or lounging at the beach – always looking for the next exciting experience.
Ashley cherished her loyal canine companions. Louie, her sweet boy, and Doodle, her service pup, who spent countless joyful moments by her side.
Know for her ferocity, Ashley lived life unapologetically. With a feisty mouth to match her boldness, she faced every challenge head-on, never backing down. Her disdain for conformity manifested in a passion for eclectic music and literature; she explored the worlds of various authors and jammed to an extensive playlist that mirrored her vibrant personality.
