Ann Matich

Ann Matich, 73, of Jackson Georgia passed away October 24, 2024. Born in Danville Virgina March 24, 1951. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday October 27, 2024, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel 86 West Main Street Forsyth. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to St Jude www.stjude.org or Tunnels to Towers Foundation www.t2t.org. 

Ann was the owner of Ann’s deli for 17 years where displayed her wonderful baking skills; she loved and supported the local law enforcement and was known to charge the new officers half price and giving them double portions. When she wasn't working, she loved to travel her favorite place to visit was Venice Italy. She loved spending time with her family, and large family get togethers. Ann loved animals, especially her faithful companions Lucy and Jojo. She would spend late nights watching TV and loved the show Naked and Afraid. She was a simple and loving lady who never met a stranger. 

Ann is survived by her husband of 56 years Chuck Matich, children Mat Matich (Jennifer), Angie Wilson (Timothy), Dixie Tallman (Greg), Ravi Parihar (Vaunita); grandchildren, Dillion Matich, Charles Andrew Matich (Sarah), Justin Tallman, Hannah Jordan, Sara Tallman, Jackson Wilson, Rye Matich, Madisyn Wilson, Olivia Wilson, Minty Matich; great grandson Brantley Oliver Jordan; many nieces and nephews and many friends.
