Alfredo Lopez Pina

Alfredo Lopez Pina, 82, of Forsyth, Georgia, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023. A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 131 Ward Street Macon, Georgia.  
Son of the late Victorino Lopez Barajas and Angela Pina de la Cruz, Alfredo was born on December 5, 1940, in Morelia, Michoacan Mexico.  In 1995 he moved to the United States and lived in Atlanta. Later he moved to Monroe County, where he lived for the last 27 years.  Alfredo loved spending time in the country.  He enjoyed many outdoor activities, including farming and taking care of the animals.  He loved to sit for hours and tell stories about his life.  
Alfredo is survived by his children, Arturo Lopez Carrillo (Evangelina), Angeles Lopez Carrillo (Carlos), Marcela Lopez Carrillo (Jorge), Carmen Lopez Carrillo (Miguel), Lucia Lopez Carrillo, Alfredo Lopez Carrillo (Jany), Santiago Lopez Carrillo, and Laura Lopez Carrillo (Adrian); eighteen grandchildren: Miguel, Lluvia, Gabriela, Monse, Carlos, Jorge, Carolina, Alejandra, Rocio, Britt, Frida, Randy, Brenda, Omar, Daniel, Mayra, Bladimir, and Emiliano; ten great grandchildren, Gabriel, Maria Rosario, Viviana, Nalina Liana, Sebastian, Renee, Sophia, Isabella, Jennifer, and Kevin; and siblings, Santiago and Jose. 
Alfredo is preceded in death by his sons, Victorino and Rosario Lopez Carrillo; grandchildren, Carlos and Alejandro; and siblings, Esperanza and Matilde.
