Albert Clyde Jones

Albert C. Jones of Forsyth passed away peacefully at his home, Tuesday November 15, 2022.

Albert was born January 6, 1936 in Butler, Georgia to Jesse Clyde Jones and Maggie McChargue Jones.

Albert is preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife Elaine Wheeless Jones, brother, Felton Jones, sisters Gladys Jones and Christine Jones.  He is survived by his sons Robert (Gena) Jones, Reggie Jones, Barry (Rhonda) Jones, and Jeff Jones, four grandchildren and one great grandchild, brother, James Jones and sister, Nadine Price.

Albert was an over the road truck driver logging over 5 million miles and retiring after twenty eight years from the Bibb Company.  He was a 32^nd degree Scottish Rite Mason for more than sixty three years, a member of the Al-Sihah Shrine Temple and a member of the Strict Observance Lodge #18 F&A.M.  He was an ordained deacon of Rocky Creek Baptist Church in Forsyth GA.

Services to be held at 11:00am Saturday November 19, 2022 at Rocky Creek Baptist Church Forsyth GA, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at 2:00pm with full Masonic Rites at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery Thomaston GA. Officiated by Reverend Scott Harrell and Reverend Nelson Grist.
