Aileen Lott Palmer

April 18, 1937 — March 17, 2021

Aileen Lott Palmer passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Forsyth Apostolic Church.  There will be a viewing from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Rev. Jeremy Causey, Rev. Joel Palmer, Rev. Greg Palmer and Rev. Randall Alger will officiate. Interment will follow in Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens. Masks and social distancing are required at the church and cemetery.

Aileen, the daughter of the late Ernest Lott and Auzzie Inez Grantham Lott, was born April 18, 1937 in Decatur, GA.  Her husband, Gerald W. Palmer, daughter Glenda Sue Causey and son-in-law Randall Steven Meadows preceded her in death.  She was a pastor’s wife for 2 years at Monroe Apostolic Church and 26 years at Forsyth Apostolic Church.  She was the National Ladies Auxiliary President for the Pentecostal Assemblies of Jesus Christ for 26 years.

Survivors include her daughter, Sheilah and Cecil Smith of Forsyth, daughter Jennifer Meadows of Forsyth, son Joel and Sharon Palmer of Forsyth, son Greg and Pam Palmer of Thomaston; 20 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. 

Flowers will be accepted or donations in memory of “Aileen Lott Palmer” to Forsyth Apostolic Church, c/o World Missions, PO Box 5917, Forsyth, GA 31029.

Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
