Addie Louise Walker

Addie Louise Walker passed away Friday, December 3, 2021.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Forsyth City Cemetery. Rev. Mark Goolsby will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service. Masks and social distancing are encouraged.

Mrs. Walker, the daughter of the late Robert Franklin Holt and Nettie Mae Long Holt was born April 20, 1924 in Macon, Georgia.  Her husband Carlton Kotch Walker and her son, Mallory Ernest Walker preceded her in death. She retired from Carters after forty years of service.  Mrs. Walker was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother.

Survivors include her children, Phil Walker (Andy), Barry Walker (Nita) and George Anthony Walker (Judy); nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, PO Box 22324, New York NY 10087 or to St. Jude’s Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
