Harold Dalton “Bo” Wiley, Sr. passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 25, 2017, at First Baptist Church of High Falls with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Jeff Giddens and Rev. Jack Gatlin will officiate. The family will greet friends the day of the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., at the Church. Mr. Wiley, the son of the late Lorenzo Bee Wiley and Margie Mae Dalton Wiley was born July 24, 1925, in Sparta, Georgia. His wife, Gladys McLemore Wiley preceded him in death. He was retired from the air conditioning industry and was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II. Mr. Wiley was a charter member of High Falls Baptist Church, a deacon emeritus, a member of the Plumbers and Steam Fitters Union, a Mason and a longtime leader with the Boy Scouts of America, receiving the Silver Beaver Award. Survivors include his children, Dalton (Eileen) Wiley of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Bruce (Pat) Wiley of Douglasville; step-daughter, Mary Adams of High Falls; sisters, Sallie Holmes of Gray and Grace Ray of Buford; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to First Baptist Church of High Falls, 4408 High Falls Road, Jackson, GA 30233 or to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
