Herbert Phillip "Herb" Locher

Herbert Phillip “Herb” Locher passed away Monday, March 6, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 10, 2017, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in The Christian Gathering Place Cemetery.  Abb Fry and Michael Murray will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.  Mr. Locher, the son of the late Calvin Herman Locher and Eva Hanes Locher was born August 3, 1943, in Sciotoville, Ohio. His brother, Charles Locher preceded him in death.  He was owner and operator of Fine Line Auto Trim-Signs to Go.  Survivors include his wife, Dena Morris Locher of Macon; children, Phil (Tina) Locher of Gray, Amy Locher of Sandy Springs, Adam (Lavelle) Locher of Macon, Andrea (Alex) Ward of Mableton and Ashton Locher of Cleveland, Georgia; sister, Barbara Tackett of Cincinnati, Ohio; and six grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the National Kidney Foundation, 270 Peachtree Street, NE #1040, Atlanta, GA 30303 or to the American Diabetes Association, Post Office Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215.  To view this live at the time of the service or at a later time please visit: http://citylinktv.com/channel/forsyth-monroe-county-memorial-chapel/Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
