John Wayne Belknap

John Wayne Belknap passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 4, 2017, at New Beginnings Pentecostal Church. Rev. Mark Goolsby will officiate.  The family will greet friends following the service at the church.  Mr. Belknap, the son of the late John Henry Belknap and Cornelia Spicer Belknap was born September 2, 1950, in Brooks County, Georgia. His brother, Jessie McInvale and his sister, Joanne Lummus preceded him in death. He retired from Dry Tex Company and was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the 82nd Airborne Division.  Survivors include his children, Brandy (Todd) Wilson of Juliette, Andrew (Casey) Belknap of Bolingbroke and Katherine Belknap of Forsyth; brother, Kent (Sandra) Belknap; sister, Barbara Belknap of Newnan; and nine grandchildren.  The family may be contacted at the residence of Todd and Brandy Wilson, 3131 Juliette Road, Juliette, GA 31046.  Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
