VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE     CSM Ernest Clifford Morgan, Jr., GA Army National Guard (Ret.) passed away Friday, January 27, 2017. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 30, 2017, at Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Danny Parker will officiate. The family will greet friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 29, 2017, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.  Mr. Morgan, the son of the late Ernest Clifford Morgan, Sr. and Alfa Exie Ivey Morgan, was born July 3, 1929, in Forsyth, Georgia. His wife of sixty four years, Patricia Elizabeth Collins Morgan and his son, Maxwell Lee Morgan preceded him in death.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from the Georgia Army National Guard. Mr. Morgan was a member of First Baptist Church and a member of the Monroe County Historical Society.  Survivors include his daughter, Robyn Morgan of Forsyth; grandchildren, Robert Perry Ivey and his wife Julie, Logan Miles McDonald and Elizabeth Maisy McDonald; great grandchildren, Exie Marie Ivey and Sutton McLean Ivey.  Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Meals on Wheels at First Baptist Church, 95 West Morse Street, Forsyth, GA 31029 or to The Monroe County Historical Society, Post Office Box 401 Forsyth, GA 31029.  Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
