Charles Gray passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017. A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2017, at New Beginnings Pentecostal Church. Rev. Franklin Etheridge and Rev. Mark Goolsby will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service at the Church. Charles, the son of the late Otto Gray and Lena Mae Duall Gray was born March 5, 1941, in Gadsden, Alabama. He was a retired carpenter and a veteran of the United States Army. Survivors include his wife, Fay Wheeler Gray of Barnesville; children, Keith (Lisa) Vonlinsowe of Winder, Steven Gray of Kennesaw, Rhonda (Rusty) Phillips of Locust Grove, Donna (Dwight) Villafana of Snellville and Bonnie (Marc) Mansfield of Gray; brother, Donnie (Gloria) Gray of Loganville; sisters, Marlene Slape of Coweta, Oklahoma, Dorothy Faye Lawrence of Blytheville, Arkansas and Anna (James) Treadwell of Blytheville, Arkansas; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
