Oscar Smith

Oscar Smith passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2016, at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, Molena, Georgia.  Rev. Franklin Etheridge will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service at the graveside.  Oscar, the son of the late James Marion Smith and Doris Mable Bishop Smith was born March 22, 1952, in Thomaston, Georgia.  Survivors include his daughter, Brandy Smith Clark of Forsyth; brothers, James R. (Mary) Smith of High Falls, Terry (Martha) Smith of Forsyth and Emmette L. Smith of Forsyth; sisters, Florene Taylor of Thomaston and Margie Smith Herndon of Griffin; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.   Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
