Floyd Ray Cragg

Floyd Ray Cragg June 22, 1928 - December 12, 2016 Floyd Ray Cragg of Forsyth passed away Monday, December 12, 2016. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 4 p.m. at New Providence Baptist Church, 2560 Hwy 41S., Forsyth. Associate Pastor Phillip Johnson will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the church one hour prior to the service.   Mr. Cragg was born June 22, 1928 in Tiger, GA. He was a retired Planer Foreman at Vaughn Lumber Company. Mr. Cragg, affectionately known as the Lawn Mower Man, quietly served others with his handyman and repair skills. This was his mission in helping others. Mr. Cragg was preceded in death by his daughter Yvonne Payne. He was a member of New Providence Baptist Church and was the oldest resident member. Survivors  include his wife of 65 years, Klonnie June Cragg; children Rhonda Slayton of Hamilton, GA and Terri McHale of Acworth, GA; brother Wadous Cragg of Tiger, GA; eight grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to New Providence Baptist Church in his honor.
