Benjamin Doyce Crutchfield

Benjamin Doyce Crutchfield passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Monroe Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Franklin Etheridge will officiate.  The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 13, 2016, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.  Mr. Crutchfield, the son of the late Benjamin Silas Crutchfield and Zella Lee Smith Crutchfield was born August 6, 1938, in Juliette, Georgia. He was retired from The Bibb Company and from the Monroe County Recycling Department.  Mr. Crutchfield was a veteran of the United States Army National Guard.  Survivors include his wife, Patricia Crutchfield of Forsyth; children, Ben Crutchfield of Forsyth and Jason (Kelly) Crutchfield of Milledgeville; step-children, Kelly (Rod) Hutzler of Forsyth and Sherry Evans of Forsyth; ten grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
