Margaret Kent Niblett

Margaret Lucille Kent Niblett, age 104, went to her heavenly home Friday, October 28, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2016, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Monroe Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Ricky Niblett and Rev. Danny Parker will officiate.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.  Mrs. Niblett, the daughter of the late Elbert Joseph Kent and Ada Griffin Kent was born September 25, 1912, in Juliette, Georgia. Her husband, Bailey Heard Niblett, her son, Bailey Zellner “Pete” Niblett and her twin sister, Marjorie Niblett preceded her in death. She was retired from Bibb Company. Mrs. Niblett loved her family, grandchildren, friends, her weather man “Ben Jones’ and the Atlanta Braves. She was the oldest living member of Second Baptist Church, a member of the Senior Group of New Beginning Pentecostal Church and a member of Merry Hearts of First Baptist Church of Forsyth.  Survivors include her children, Shirley Erickson of Denver, Colorado, Pat (Nat) Redd of Forsyth and Kent (Lora) Niblett of Forsyth; daughter-in-law, Gloria Niblett of Forsyth; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and thirteen great great grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to donor’s favorite charity.  To view this live at the time of the service or at a later time please visit: http://citylinktv.com/channel/forsyth-monroe-county-memorial-chapel/    Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
