Gavin Hunter Forrester

Gavin Hunter Forrester passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, August 6, 2016, at Forsyth United Methodist Church with burial in Monroe Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Ken Stephens and Rev. Wesley Privett will officiate.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  Gavin was born December 11, 1996 in Macon, Georgia. His grandmother, Candace Herndon and his great grandmother Dorothy “Nannie” Herndon preceded him in death. He was employed with Towaliga Plantation.  Gavin attended Ebenezer Youth Group, loved Georgia football and was an avid deer and dove hunter.  Survivors include parents, Robbie and Annalise Forrester of Forsyth; sister, Maggie Forrester of Forsyth; grandparents, Jack and Ann Haygood of Forsyth, Glenn Forrester of Wildwood, Florida and Terry Herndon of Forsyth.  Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
