Burnam DuPree Barlow passed away Monday, July 18, 2016. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 22, 2016, at Magnolia Park Cemetery. Rev. Todd Shearin will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service at the graveside and at the residence.
Dupree, the son of the late Samuel Franklin and Ruby Olivia Waters Barlow was born October 13, 1928, in Irwinton, Georgia. His wife, Nina Beck Barlow and his sister, Betty Barlow Smith preceded him in death. Dupree was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during World War II and was retired from Robins Air Force Base. He was an avid NASCAR fan and had high performance cars his entire life.
His memory will forever be treasured by his daughters, Wendy (Michael) Ross of Lawrenceville, Georgia and Joy Clickener of Warner Robins, Georgia; grandchildren, Lisa (Andrew) Pryor of Fort Mitchell, Alabama and Sam Ross of Lawrenceville, Georgia; great grandchildren, Savannah, Waylon and Avery Pryor; several nieces and nephews.
