MSgt. Larry Kendall Grant (Ret.) Ga ARNG

VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE  MSgt. Larry Kendall Grant (Ret.) GaARNG passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at New Providence Baptist Church with burial in Forsyth City Cemetery.  Rev. Brian Moore will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2016, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.  Mr. Grant, the son of the late Lester Kendall Grant and Mattie Claris Burnette Grant was born November 14, 1949, in Forsyth, Georgia. His sister, Beverly Ann Boggs preceded him in death. He retired from the Georgia Army National Guard as a MSgt. and instructor.  Mr. Grant was a member and former deacon at New Providence Baptist Church.  Survivors include his companion, Elithia Harrell of Forsyth; children, Lee (Christy) Grant of Carrollton, Michael (Beth) Grant of Forsyth and Chris (Tara) Grant of Perry; sister, Brenda (Eddie) Vinson of Forsyth; and ten grandchildren.  Flowers will be accepted or the family suggests donations to Hospice Care Options, 486 New Street, Macon, GA 31201.  Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
