Patricia Smallwood Clance

Patricia Carolyn Smallwood Clance passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2016, at Bridges of Hope Restoration Church, 354 Big Oak Road, Macon, Georgia with burial in New Haven Baptist Church Cemetery, 893 New Haven Road, Gordon, Georgia.  Reverend Mark Goolsby and Rev. Loretta Faulk will officiate.  The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 28, 2016, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.  Mrs. Clance, the daughter of the late Willard Lee Smallwood and Lillian Aretta Champion Smallwood was born August 28, 1947, in Jones County, Georgia. Her husband, Jesse Manson Clance, Jr., her daughter, Aretta Lynn Smith, her grandchildren, Jesse M. Clance IV and Noah Bryan Faulkner, preceded her in death. Mrs. Clance was a homemaker and a member of Bridges of Hope Restoration Church.  Survivors include her children, Jesse M. (Tiffany) Clance, III of Rome, Michelle (Chris) Faulkner of Jones County and Kathy (Cliff) Hendrix of Macon; sisters, Evelyn Eddy of Twiggs County, Mary Odessa Westgate of Jones County and Deborah (Phillip) Cobb of Jones County; brothers, Calvin Smallwood of Rome, Allen Smallwood of Jones County and Charles (Elaine) Smallwood of Twiggs County; twelve grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.  Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
