George Washington Ryals

Byron . . . George Washington Ryals passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 11, 2016, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Burial will be private.  Rev. Todd Ryals will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.  Mr. Ryals, the son of the late James Alfred Ryals and Jennie Bell Acreage Ryals was born July 6, 1942, in Sandersville, Georgia. He was retired from Ryder Truck Rental.  Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ryals of Warner Robins; children, Todd (Shawn) Ryals of Warren, Texas and Bryan Ryals of Forsyth; step-children, Barbara Guest of Valdosta, Ben Holt of Orange, Virginia and Sharon Carayiannis of Gainesville, Virginia; sisters, Mary Curry of Ivey and Martha Phillips of Byron; brothers, Hubert Ryals of Warner Robins and Ray Ryals of Macon; grandsons, Caleb Ryals, Joshua Ryals and David Ryals.  The family requests no flowers but suggests donation to American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, GA 31201.  To view this live at the time of the service or at a later time please visit: http://citylinktv.com/channel/forsyth-monroe-county-memorial-chapel/    Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
