Albert Nathaniel Johnson

Forsyth . . . Albert Nathaniel Johnson passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016.  Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 25, 2016, at Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Bob Hooks will officiate. The family will greet friends the day of the service from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m., at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.  Mr. Johnson, the son of the late JW Johnson and Eunice Hoard Johnson was born March 22, 1920, in Russellville, Georgia. His wives; Florence Brooks Johnson and Velia Coleman Johnson preceded him in death.  He retired from Hammer-blow, Inc. after twenty two years of service and he also worked with his father for many years in the logging and wood industry. Mr. Johnson was a 1938 graduate of Mary Persons High School and was a member of Cabaniss Baptist Church.  Survivors include his son, Al R. Johnson of Macon; companion, Louise Samples of Forsyth; grandchildren,  Keith (Glenda) Johnson of Macon, Jill Johnson of Warner Robins; great grandchildren, Caleb Williams, Abigal Johnson and Isabella Johnson, sixteen nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Cabaniss Baptist Church, c/o Carol Edge, 1544 Stokes Store Road, Forsyth, Ga 31029.  Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
