Dorothy Wynn Driskell

Forsyth . . . Dorothy Wynn Driskell passed away Friday, January 15, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with burial in Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens.  Rev. J. Wesley Privett and Rev. Michael Young will officiate.  The family will greet friends the day of the service from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.  Mrs. Driskell, the daughter of the late Thomas Osburn Wynn and Tishie Mae Lott Wynn was born July 4, 1933, in Macon, Georgia. Her sister, Mrs. Clifford Milner preceded her in death. She was retired from Dr. Smith and Dr. Grant’s medical office.  Mrs. Driskell was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.  Survivors include her husband, Smitty Driskell of Forsyth; children, Ken (Debra) Driskell of Alpharetta and Kathy (Michael) Young of Panama City Beach, Florida; sister, Dannie Fountain of Forsyth; brother, Thomas Marion Wynn of Fort Valley, five grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.  Flowers will be accepted or the family suggests donations to Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 1681 Dames Ferry Road, Forsyth, GA 31029. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
