Opal Tidwell Jackson

Forsyth . . . Opal Tidwell Jackson passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 11, 2015, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Forsyth City Cemetery. Rev. Mark Goolsby will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Jackson, the daughter of the late Eddie Kelsey Tidwell and Pearlie Mae Cheek Tidwell was born October 22, 1926, in Hampton, Georgia. Her husband, James Paul Jackson, preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her children, Don Jackson of Forsyth, Dianne (Barry) Peters of Forsyth and Andy Jackson of Bethlehem; sister, Christine Britt of Warner Robins; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Thomas) Bain, Alyssa Peters, Ruby (Tyler) Kaspers and Greg Jackson; five great grandchildren, Hayden and Weston Bain, Ariana Jackson, Cayden Jackson and Barrett Davis.
