Forsyth . . . Nadine Shaw Wilson passed away Friday, November 27, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 30, 2015, at Russellville Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Dr. Kenneth E. Keene and Rev. Jered Day will officiate. The family will greet friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday, November 29, 2015, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. Wilson, the daughter of the late Clifford Lee Shaw, Sr. and Lillian Mitchell Shaw, was born March 10, 1925. Her husband, Howell Montgomery Wilson, Jr., preceded her in death. She was a homemaker, a dedicated member of Russellville Baptist Church, where she was organist for fifty-eight years, served as church treasurer, historian and on other numerous committees.
Survivors include her children, Rosanne Jerkins of Forsyth, Janet (Larry) Storey of Forsyth, and Eddie (Julie Ryles) Wilson of Forsyth ; sisters, Martha Shaw (Harry) Young of Forsyth and Norma Jean Shaw (George) Pirkle of Forsyth; brother, Clifford Lee (Violet) Shaw, Jr. of Galena Park, Texas; grandchildren, Mike (Tara) Lynch of Cumming, Robby (Kelly) Pierson of Forsyth, Lauren (Keven) Lee of Forsyth and Anna (Willie) Justice of Warner Robins; great grandchildren, Connor, Aidan and Mackenzie Lynch, Shaw Pierson and Peyton Justice.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Russellville Baptist Church in memory of Nadine Wilson, 5545 Hwy 42 S, Forsyth, GA 31029 or to charity of choice.
Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
