Brenda Bryant Moncrief

Yatesville . . . Brenda Sue Bryant Moncrief passed away Friday, October 30, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 2, 2015, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in New Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Dr. Preston Gleaton will officiate. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Brenda, the daughter of the late Coy Jackson Bryant and Irene Burton Bryant was born July 3, 1943, in Sparta, Tennessee. Her husband, Clifford Moncrief, her sisters, Linda Ridgeway and Janice Matthews preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Gordon Military High School and was retired from William Carter Company and Haygood Trucking Company. Survivors include her son, Jeff (Poppy) Moncrief of Thomaston; sisters, Phyllis (Spanky) Beck of Forsyth and Paula (David) Nicholson of Barnesville; brother, Jackie (Deborah) Bryant of The Rock; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
