VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTEMacon . . . Dorothy Wrye Land passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Memorial Hills Memorial Gardens. Rev. Dean Conkel and Cathy Land will officiate. The family will greet friends the day of the service from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Land, the daughter of the late Ada Lee Wrye and Annie Fredonia Davis Wrye was born June 25, 1922, in Macon, Georgia. Her husband, Edgar Land, her son, Joey Land, her four brothers and her three sisters preceded her in death. She attended A. L. Miller High School and was a homemaker. Survivors include her children, Larry (Renee) Land of Adel, Andy (Mary Jean) Land of Milledgeville, Dottie Land of Centerville and Sara (Jimmy) Law of Hawkinsville; brother, Carl (Nita) Wrye of Macon; nine grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
