David Carl Harvel Forsyth . . . David Carl Harvel passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Monroe Memorial Gardens. Rev. Mark Atwood will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mr. Harvel, the son of the late Lloyd Harvel and Emily Hardesty Harvel was born September 6, 1941, in Elgin, Illinois. He was a retired welder and mechanic. Survivors include his wife, Robyn Harvel of Forsyth; children, Peggy Rutter of Cleveland, Georgia, Tina (Matt) Munson of Cleveland, Georgia, Jessica (Hanie) Bukannan of Forsyth and Kimberly (Robert) White of Macon; sisters, Darlene (Charlie) Logan of Warsaw, Illinois, Donna Spencer of Warsaw, Illinois and Dee Harvel of Illinois; brother, Dale Harvel of Illinois; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
