Willie Edna McGee Round Oak . . . Willie Edna McGee passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2015, at East Juliette Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. William Henderson and Pastor Greg Banks will officiate. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Mrs. McGee, the daughter of the late William James Hunnicutt and Grace Pritchett Hunnicutt was born March 13, 1930, in Juliette, Georgia. Her husband, John Franklin McGee, III and her daughter, Gloria Coile preceded her in death. She was retired from the textile industry and was a member of East Juliette Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Cheryl (David) Hayes and Trudy Gordon of Round Oak; adopted daughter, Denise Speir of Round Oak; sisters, Betty Wood of Juliette, Mary (Alvin) Pritchett of Juliette, Lou (Molden) Tillman of Hillsboro and Gail (Billy) Cochran of Juliette; brothers, Floyd Hunnicutt of Juliette and Tommy (Nonie) Hunnicutt of Forsyth; five grandchildren, Tammy (Clint) Jackson, Rebecca (Butch) Koch, Jeremiah (Kristie) Hayes, Samantha Hayes and Andy Gordon; nine great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. The family suggests donations to Alzheimer’s Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, Ga 31201 or to St Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
