Michael Keirns

James Michael Keirns Gordon . . . Michael went to be with the Lord on June 28, 2015, after a brief illness. He was employed by Elliott Machine Shop and had a lifelong love of racing. He is preceded in death by his father, John William Keirns. Mike is survived by his loving wife Janice of twenty six years; two daughters, Teresa (Robbie) Holcomb and Rindi Reese; one sister. Jana (Kerry) Sikes of Forsyth; five granddaughters, Casey, Kayley, Kara, Lily and Carly; one grandson, Cameron; his mother, Jane Keirns of Forsyth; two brothers, John (Linda) Keirns and Jay Keirns; two nephews, Liam Kyle and Shane Sikes; one niece, Brandi (Nick) Adkins; two great nieces, Makenzi and Ja’lynn; one great nephew, Will. He is also survived by two aunts and uncles as well as numerous cousins and friends. There will be no service or burial. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
