Betty Louise Bunn Jenkins Forsyth . . . Betty Louise Bunn Jenkins, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, June 4, 2015. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Monroe Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m., Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Betty was born February 17, 1929. Betty married Johnny Jenkins and together they had nine children, twenty-five grandchildren and thirty-five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Jenkins, daughter, Brenda Louise Donaldson, son, Thomas Otis Jenkins, granddaughter, Michelle Leigh Jenkins, grandson, Johnathan William Vedder, one sister and eight brothers. She worked at William Carter Company for 30 years, and spent her life dedicating her time to loving and raising her nine children. She was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She lived a life full of love and family and she will be remembered in the hearts of many. She is survived by her children, Kay Hudmon (Jim), John Jenkins (Cathy), Kenneth Jenkins (Paula), Joe Jenkins, Carol Murray (Michael), Angie Coleman (Alan), Robert Jenkins (Cindy); brothers Benny Bunn (Janette) and J.T. Bunn of Forsyth, twenty-three grandchildren and thirty-five great grandchildren. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
