Lenora McLemore Price Macon . . . Lenora McLemore Price passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 20, 2015, at Sandy Valley Baptist Church, 1124 S Houston Lake Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088. Pastor Phil Bryant and Rev. Jeff Giddens will officiate. Burial will follow at 4:30 p.m. in High Falls Baptist Church Cemetery, 4408 High Falls Road, Jackson, GA 30233. The family will greet friends the day of the service from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Sandy Valley Baptist Church. Mrs. Price, the daughter of the late Leon Jessie McLemore and Linnie Gennytee Hall, was born May 15, 1924, in Omega, Georgia. Her sons, Tony and Richard Taylor, her brother, Jefferson McLemore, her sisters, Clyde Elizabeth Cody, Mary Lee Reese and Magdalene McLemore; and her grandson, Richard Brian Taylor preceded her in death. She grew up in Wilcox County and was an extra in the movie "Mississippi Burning”. Mrs. Price worked for Woolworth for many years as a sales person; she was a nanny for the George Shinn Family, was a foster parent and a retired caregiver. She was a member of Sandy Valley Baptist Church, a member of Daisy McLain Sunday School Class and a member of Senior Saints of Warner Robins, Georgia. She is survived by one son, Herbert (Mary) Taylor of Warner Robins; two granddaughters, Amy Vinson of Warner Robins and Lisa (Brian) Holcomb of Clovis, New Mexico; one grandson, Ken Taylor of Warner Robins; five great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sister, Gladys (Bo ) Wiley of High Falls; several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Sandy Valley Baptist Church, 1124 S Houston Lake Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
