Charlotte Lasley Nunnally
Macon . . . Charlotte Lasley Nunnally was born August 22, 1938 in Nashville, TN. She died on March 9, 2015 at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon. Ga. Charlotte’s death was due to complications of Rheumatoid Arthritis. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Louise Lasley, her sister Laberta Mallory and her husband Rev. Stuart J. Nunnally.
She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School and attended The University of Kentucky. As the wife of a United Methodist Minister, she lived in and around Nashville Tn. serving numerous congregations. She also worked as a teacher for special needs children.
She is survived by her children, Beth (Vaughan) Smith of Macon and Jack (Anita) Nunnally of Nashville; She has four grandchildren, Mary Stuart and Will Smith of Macon and Alexandria Nunnally of Harker Heights, Texas and Jackson Nunnally of Nashville; and sister Suzi (Dick) Sittel of Nashville, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Charlotte moved to Macon GA. several years ago to be closer to her daughter. Charlotte was devoted to her family and always put the needs of others before her own. She saw the humor in everyday life, despite constant pain, and brightened the day of everyone she met.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 Friday, March 13th at First United Methodist Church in Franklin, TN., with Rev. Peter Van Eys officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
