Daniel Clinton Brooks Calera, Alabama . . . Daniel Clinton Brooks passed away Friday, February 27, 2015. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 6, 2015, at Forsyth City Cemetery. Rev. Rob Roy McGregor will officiate. Mr. Brooks, the son of the late Cuyler Warnell Brooks, Sr. and Mary Lester Brooks was born July 5, 1939, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He retired from Unisis Corporation as a computer technician, was a veteran of the United States Navy and was an avid NASCAR fan. Survivors include his sister, Mary McCarthy of DeKalb County, Georgia and brother, Cuyler W. Brooks, Jr. of Gwinnett County, Georgia. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
