Audrey B. Long Lizella . . . Audrey B. Long passed away Monday, February 16, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 19, 2015, at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 5455 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon, GA 31216, with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Lee Griffin, Rev. Jody Long, Rev. Mica Carr and Rev. Franklin Etheridge will officiate. The family will greet friends the day of the service from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Mrs. Long, the daughter of the late Perry Anderson and Flora Eady Payne was born June 17, 1926, in Carrollton, Georgia. Her husband, James Thomas Long and her son, Terry Long preceded her in death. She retired from Macy’s after twenty six years of service and was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Richard (Jennifer) Long of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Kenneth Long and Dennis Long of Lizella; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 5455 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon, GA 31216. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
