Mrs. Wilma J. “Kay” Eccles

Forsyth . . . . Mrs. Wilma J. “Kay” Eccles of Forsyth passed away January 28, 2015. She was born in Seattle, Washington, daughter of the late William A. Grobe and Laura McLeod Grobe. She was a member of the Atlanta Opera Guild and Theatre Under the Stars in Atlanta and enjoyed singing and performing professionally. In her later years she became an active member of the The Backlot Players in Forsyth. She attended and enjoyed being a part of Forsyth Presbyterian Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Steve and Betty Norheim of Weatherford, Texas, Kim Ducheneau of Forsyth, Scott and Trisha Eccles of Gainesville, Florida; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 31, at the Forsyth Presbyterian Church with Reverend Marilyn Tucker-Marek officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the Parish house.
