Lessie Albert Passmore, Sr. Culloden . . . Lessie Albert Passmore, Sr. passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Forsyth City Cemetery. Mark Goolsby will officiate. The family will greet friends the day of the service from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mr. Passmore, the son of the late Grady Passmore and Lillian Adams Passmore was born February 7, 1934, in Forsyth, Georgia. He was retired from Georgia Power Company and was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Nichols Passmore of Culloden; sons, Lessie (Sandra) Passmore, Jr. of Smarr and William Grady (Ruth) Passmore of Culloden; step-daughters, Jeannie Gaskill McCoy and Tracy Gaskill Curry of Culloden; brother, Thomas Eugene Passmore, Sr. of Milner; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Wounded Warrior Project, Post Office Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
