Nellie Ontee Ward Macon . . . Nellie Ontee Ward passed away Saturday, December 20, 2014. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 22, 2014, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Franklin Etheridge will officiate. Mrs. Ward, the daughter of the late James Henry Long and Alice Inez Hunnicutt Long was born April 13, 1917, in Ochlocknee, Georgia. Her husband, Nathan Ardell Ward, Sr. preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Nathan A. Ward, Jr. of Lizella; sisters, Mimmi Coley of Sacramento, California, Margie Meriam of San Jose, California, Mildred Windham of Lizella and Robbie Pupo of Lizella; brother, Ray Long of Lizella; five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Mt Pleasant Baptist Church, 5455 Mt. Pleasant Church Road, Macon, GA 31216. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
