Grover Cleveland Faulkner, Jr. Forsyth . . . Grover Cleveland Faulkner, Jr. passed away Friday, December 12, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel with burial in Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, December 15, 2014, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mr. Faulkner, the son of the late Grover Cleveland Faulkner, Sr. and Maggie Polk Faulkner was born April 29, 1928, in Jackson, Georgia. His wife, Rosealene Faulkner preceded him in death. Mr. Faulkner was a retired self-employed carpenter and a veteran of the United States Army. Survivors include his children, Wayne (Karen) Faulkner of Yates Center, Kansas, Barbara Jan (David) Moxon of Owensboro, Kentucky, Stanley (Deborah) Faulkner of Huffman, Texas and Joan Baxter of High Falls; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
