Waymon Merrill “Bo” Autrey, Sr. Forsyth . . . Waymon Merrill “Bo” Autrey, Sr. passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at Henry Baptist Church, 4035 Jodeco Road, McDonough, Georgia. Burial will be private at a later date in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville. Rev. Archie Norman will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2014, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mr. Autrey the son of the late Claude Edgar and Ava Hudgins Autrey was born January 12, 1945, in Ellenwood, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his son, Waymon Merrill “BoBo” Autrey, Jr. and three brothers, Edgar, Al and James. Mr. Autrey was retired from Georgia Power Company and was a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Gordean Juanita Autrey of Forsyth; his sons, Sean Heath (Cathy) Autrey of Jackson, Tony Martinez of Jackson, Paul (Marie) Martinez of Jackson, daughter, Renee (Bryan) Hawkins of Jackson, brother, Raymond Autrey of Woolsey; sister, Bobbie Jean Holden of Perry; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
