Lois Williamson McGaha Forsyth . . . Lois Williamson McGaha passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at Rocky Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Reverend Franklin Etheridge and Matthew McGaha will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, December 1, 2014, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel. Mrs. McGaha, the daughter of the late William Ponder Williamson and Pamelia Thornton Williamson was born May 26, 1921, in Forsyth, Georgia. Her husband, Carter Alfred McGaha and her daughters, Barbara McGaha and Annie Etheridge preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, J R and Gwen McGaha of Thomaston; son-in-law, Franklin Etheridge of Forsyth; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Monroe County Memorial Chapel has charge of arrangements.
